The 10th annual United Hosplice of Rockland Golf Tournament was held on Monday, September 12 at Paramount Country Club, (the former Dellwood Country Club), in New City.

It is not often that you find such heart-warming generosity in such difficult economic times as we are currently experiencing. The generosity of the golfers, sponsors, community members, donars and volunteers helped make this tournament a huge success. Many thanks to Amy Stern, Hospice Director, and her team for helping raise the $80,000.

This charity tournament always makes for a good time, while helping provide for patients and their families. The money raised from this New City golf tournament assists in the near completion of the late Joe Raso Hospice Residence, who was formerly of Piermont.  This facility will be providing the essential care and services that enable those who are seriously ill to remain in a comfortable setting, and offer them comfort, dignity through their end of life.
