Ever since Pie Lady and Son in Nyack closed, I have been on the look-out.  And I've struggled to find great pie!  Well I have a few to recommend to you.  Closest to us here in Rockland County are:  Didier Dumas Patisserie in Nyack and Noble Pies in Warwick.

Didier Dumas (on Main St in Nyack)  this year is offering 3 pies this year:  Apple Pie, Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie and Pumpkin PIe.  In addition he is offering a Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake.  They are accepting orders until November 20.  And you can order online here:https://www.makeitbutter.com/patisserie-didier-dumas/patisserie-didier-dumas

Warwick is a lovely drive from Rockland County --- and Noble Pies at 124 Route 94 (845-986-7436) are worth the trip.  They are offering:  Hudson Valley Apple Pie and a Hudson Valley Apple Crumb Pie, Marry Me Cherry Pie and also a Crumb version, Texas Pecan Pie, Sweet Potato Pecan Pie, and Pumpkin Pie.  In addition, you have 2 gluten free options:  Apple and Pumpkin.  And it would be sinful not to mention their meat pies!  My favorite here is the Apple Crumb -- just enough sweet added with the crumb topping and their Sweet Potato Pecan Pie --- and nice combination.  You can pre-order here https://noblepies.ordernova.com/.
